Hi, I'm Jen!
I am an attorney by training and have spent most of my career in public service. I have lived in six states and two countries and am currently based in Los Angeles. I love hiking, thrifting, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
A few years ago, I discovered a passion for real estate investing and personal finance. But I found myself feeling lonely at meetups talking to investors focused solely on profit and who had spent little to no time thinking about how to invest ethically or sustainably.
I wanted to keep pursuing real estate investing but I needed to be able to reconcile it with my values and wanted to find other investors who, like me, believe that being a housing provider is not only a responsibility but also a privilege - a privilege that has not always been equally accessible to all.
I want Better World Real Estate to amplify and
connect innovative investors whose profitable investments tangibly improve communities, target underserved populations, and solve difficult housing problems.
